Galaxy Nexus volume bug fix update on way

The other day my colleague Mark reported that the new Samsung Galaxy Nexus is experiencing a few issues in the United Kingdom, mainly with reports of volume rocker control problems, which was captured on video and you can check out that footage (here) however fear not UK Galaxy Nexus owners because the Google guys have your back covered.

According to the guys over at The Verge the Google guys have announced that they already have a fix for the volume problem associated with the first Android Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone and will release the fix as soon as possible.

The Google guys say that they are aware of the reported volume problem and have developed a fix and will update devices as soon as possible.

So there you have it, not too difficult was it, you don’t have to put up with that issue for much longer if Google is as good as their word and roll out the update in a rapid and timely fashion.

There had been rumour that the volume problem was down to the Samsung Galaxy Nexus hardware, but presuming the Google guys know what they are talking about and deliver that update fix then obviously those hardware rumours are incorrect.
