Best iPad 2 case for kids: Disney or tough?
Whether it’s for an adult or a child, keeping your iPad free from scratches or other damage is almost a necessity. But how far do you go with external protection?
There are a few on the market that we’ve covered in the past, but today it’s the turn of cases for your child’s iPad tablet, the first being one from Disney and the other from Otterbox. So what do you opt for, the themed protective cover or one that’s designed to be a little more robust?
First up the Disney cover comes in two designs that of a pink princess feel or Disney Cars, including a carrying strap, plastic shield protector, built-in stand and as chipchick.com reported a matching stylus. If this isn’t enough to tempt you, then the case also comes complete with a headrest mount allowing the iPad to convert to a portable DVD player. Price wise although a little steep at $59.99 or $49.99 the case offers plenty for the money.
Next up the more rugged looking option is that of the Otterbox Defender Series case. Using multi-layers of protective materials and designed to withstand just about anything, the new case fits snugly around the iPad allowing all features to show through. By clipping the cover onto the device, the Otterbox case benefits its user with a fold out stand allowing for easy viewing and typing capability. The price for this will set you back $89.95.
Fashion or function really the choice is down to you?

You might feel like the Apple iPad 2 offers you everything when you read the list of features, but that isn’t exactly the case. Many users are disappointed that Apple still hasn’t included Flash support for iPad 2.Â
I can’t find the pink disney case. I really need one soon.
