It’s fair to say that there is already a massive abundance of smartphones already on retailer shelves, and before the year is out there will be more releasing. Examples of this still include Samsung’s new Galaxy Nexus on Verizon which is rumoured to arrive on December 8th, the new Motorola XT928 and today news of two new Lenovo LePhone smartphones the S2 and the S760, and its this that we wanted to delve into.
Lenovo just yesterday announced the arrival of new Android tablets as well as the new LePhone S2. Adding to this, Lenovo will now be bringing the new S760 featuring a 3.7-inch Amoled touchscreen display. So it may not be the iPhone 4S or even Samsung’s existing Galaxy S II, but releasing next month in China, it’s definitely worth a consideration.
From what we know, the new S760 will pack a 1GHz processor, 512MB of RAM, run on Android’s 2.3.5 Gingerbread OS, 5 megapixel rear camera along with the company’s customised User Interface. It’s here that we have to point out, that should you require a smartphone with upped specs, then the LePhone S2 may be another option. It comes with a slightly bigger 3.8-inch screen, 1.4GHz Qualcomm processor, 512MB or 1GB of RAM, 8-megapixel rear camera with the ability of shooting 720p video.
As Engadget reported, an official price for the S760 is still to be confirmed, but when we receive further details be it this or its release date, we will of course update you.
Give us your thoughts on the new S760? Are you in China toying over the idea of a new smartphone?
