As we all know in the mobile space Android Ice Cream Sandwich bridges the gap betwixt smartphone and tablet operating systems and although currently the only official device to sport Ice Cream Sandwich is of course the Samsung Galaxy Nexus; however there is a tablet in China that is apparently running Android 4.0.1, and we have video evidence for your consideration below.
The mysterious Chinese tablet running Ice Cream Sandwich video comes our way courtesy of the guys over at Phandroid and shows a 10-inch slate that is presumed to be a rip off of the Motorola Xoom but running the new Android OS reasonably well.
Specs for the knockoff Android 4.0 sporting slate includes an NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core processor, 10-inch touch screen, a rear and front facing camera of some description, GPS, HMDMI, 1GB RAM, 16GB storage and includes a 3G SIM card slot.
However apparently this unnamed Chinese slate doesn’t come with Google apps and there’s no word on when this mysterious ICS packing tablet will come to market or how much it will cost, but apparently wont be too expensive claims an unnamed source.
Anyway that’s your lot, all you need do now is head on down and mash that play button to check out the first tablet that runs Android Ice Cream Sandwich albeit now official…enjoy.
