Instead of opting for Apple or even Samsung this Christmas, it may be worth considering a BlackBerry running on the new 7 OS as oppose to others. Using the new OS will give you the user a better overall experience with the inclusion of new features from the previous BlackBerry 6.
First up if we tell you that new BlackBerry 7 smartphones include, the BlackBerry Bold 9900/9930, which design wise, has been taken from the old 9000. Including a new keyboard, trackpad and touchscreen, the new Bold is ideal for those who spend a lot of time using their BBM messaging service.
Next up is that of the BlackBerry Torch 9810 with slide-up screen and Qwerty keyboard. As well as this, there is the benefit of an on-screen keyboard along with trackpad and standard BlackBerry buttons on the display.
BlackBerry’s Torch 9850/9860 reported by crackberry.com is aimed at users who want to use a fair amount of media, as well as using the big screen for playing games and watching movies. Basic features include a 3.7-inch screen, 4GB of internal memory, 5-megapixel camera, plus 720p video recording.
Moving onto the Bold 9790 with its new “easy to use” BlackBerry buttons, it incorporates a smaller 2.45-inch touchscreen and the inclusion of a physical Qwerty keyboard, this is geared up for someone who enjoys messaging all the time.
Finally the Curve 9350/9360/9370/9380 aimed at the younger generation, gives a modern design twist with up-to-date software, “easy to use” keyboard, no touch screen and at a much lower cost. The 9380 with its 3.2-inch screen, does offer users a full touch experience with the benefit of not having to pay the earth.
