Now everyone knows that Siri is the big thing with the iPhone 4S and just about every hacker out there is attempting to hack the Siri voice assistant onto one device or another, and it appears that some clever clogs has now managed to hack Siri onto an old style retro rotary phone, and we have video evidence of it for your viewing consideration below.
The Siri enabled Bluetooth rotary phone video comes our way courtesy of the guys over at Ubergizmo and by way of YouTube user Geoanddav, and shows off Siri working via Bluetooth on the old desktop phone.
So how does it work? Well apparently the guy stuffed a small Bluetooth headset into the speaker end and microphone end of the old school phone and you then dial one on the phone to get Siri to act as the operator and connected to an iPhone 4S over Bluetooth as well.
Not too sure just how useful using a retro style rotary phone with the Siri voice assistant is, but it does go to show that hackers out there will try just about anything to get the iOS 5 feature on something other than Apple gear.
Anyway that’s your lot, all you need do now is head on down and mash that play button to check out Siri working on that old school phone…enjoy.
