Although the Big Red has finally seen fit to put their customers out of their misery by releasing the US version of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus today, some may be sitting on the fence still contemplating snapping up the first Android Ice Cream Sandwich handset to come out of the Sammy camp, so perhaps a nice unboxing video of the device may help you make up your mind.
Thus we have an unboxing of the Verizon Galaxy Nexus LTE handset for your viewing pleasure below that comes our way courtesy of the guys over at Ubergizmo and by way of Android and Me and delivers an almost six minute look at the Android 4.0 packing phone.
The unboxing of the Verizon Samsung Galaxy Nexus is done in the usual traditional manner so doesn’t really offer anything out of the ordinary, but rather lets you know what you’ll be getting in the box if you pick up the smartphone, things such as user manual, USB wall adapter, headphones, things like that.
So a quick spec reminder although I sure by now you don’t really need one, a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED Contour Display touch screen, 5 megapixel rear facing camera, 1.3 megapixel front facing camera, 1080p video, 1.2Ghz dual core processor and of course 4G LTE connectivity and Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS.
Anyway that’s it, if you are pondering on whether to pick up the Samsung Galaxy Nexus from Verizon you can head on down and mash that play button to check out the device being unboxed…enjoy.
