For the BlackBerry faithful over here in the United Kingdom who are waiting to pick up the BlackBerry Bold 9790 smartphone you’ll probably know that Vodafone has already said they will offer the handsets, however now you have another option as Orange UK will also offer the BlackBerry Bold 9790 in the UK.
According to the guys over at Unwired View, Orange UK is now listing the BlackBerry Bold 9790 on their website as coming soon, although they don’t say just when the smartphone will become available, but it is presumed the device will appear in January 2012 the same time as Vodafone and O2.
For those waiting to pick up the BlackBerry Bold 9790 in the UK, a quick spec reminder of what the RIM handset offers, a 2.4-inch touch screen display, 1Ghz single core processor, 5 megapixel camera, full QWERTY keyboard, GPS, HSDPA, WiFi, NFC, 768MB RAM, and 8GB internal memory.
Size wise the Bold 9790 measures 110 x 60 x 11.4mm and weighs in at 107 grams with a battery that delivers up to 3-hours of talk time and up to 2-days of standby time and of course runs BlackBerry OS 7.
Of course no word on just how much the BlackBerry Bold 9790 will hit your pocket for from Orange UK at this time, but no doubt Orange will offer the device possibly as a free handset on certain tariffs, or you could opt to pick up the SIM free model as of the 9th of Jan for a price of £399.95 via HERE.
