This year it’s safe to say has seen many new devices come to retailer shelves, take the new iPad 2 and iPhone 4S, Motorola’s Droid Bionic or even its new Droid RAZR, HTC Sensation, EVO 3D and so on. Of course manufacturers are always trying to find new ways to outdo each other and this will no doubt be the case in 2012. One smartphone released just recently was that of Samsung’s new Galaxy Nexus and rumours are already circulating of a second version come next year.
Proving extremely popular and a match for the iPhone 4S, the new Nexus has wowed a huge audience of customers with its impressive features, and today over at one retailer, the device can be picked up giving a saving of $70 compared to the price currently seen direct at US retailer Verizon.
According to unwiredview.com, instead of paying a Verizon price of $299.99 for a two-year contract, retailer Wirefly are retailing the Galaxy Nexus for a price of $229.99. As Vlad Bobleanta pointed out, stock has already run out at some other retailers, but if the Galaxy Nexus is the phone for you, then advice is to be quick as Wirefly have the device in.
Check out some of our other posts in which we’ve spoken about a 32GB model of the Galaxy Nexus being available soon in the UK and other European countries, or perhaps our very own James comparing the Galaxy Nexus vs Epic 4G Touch via video.
