Oh dear me is what comes to mind with the new upcoming Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus, it is not all doom and gloom for this smartphone, but a few minor details will put the Android user off a little. The new SGAP phone is the successor of the Samsung Galaxy Ace with a bigger screen, but the pixel density is very poor, more like a nightmare to watch apparently.
The new Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus has a larger 3.65-inch display and 1GHz processor, but even though the display is bigger you will have to put up with the dismal 158-ppi-pixel density on the HVGA resolution (320×480 pixel). It gets worse, if you think this phone will come running Android Ice Cram Sandwich, think again; it will come with the older Gingerbread man. The Samsung Galaxy Ace comes with 165-ppi-pixel density, but the Plus model only has 158-ppi-pixel density. So the new phone has a bigger display but with lower pixel density.
SGAP Main Features Include: 1GHz processor, 3GB of internal memory, microSD card slot, 512MB of RAM, 3G speeds at up to 7.2Mbps, 5-megapixel auto-focus camera with LED flash capable of recording 480p videos at 30fps, also comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, 1300mAh battery, Samsung TouchWiz as well as Gingerbread, A-GPS and USB 2.0.
This new handset will come with an attractive low price, the Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus will launch in Europe, Russia, Asia, Africa, Latin America, and China this month. This smartphone will be a little thinner at 11.2mm, are you going to get your hands on this handset when it releases to the public?
