If you are over the pond in the good old US of A and are one who likes keeping up with the latest on the 2012 elections you just might like to know that the NYTimes Elections 2012 app for the iPhone, iPod Touch and Apple iPad is available to download to your chosen iOS device.
According to the guys over at 9to5 Mac by way of the New York Times, the iOS app enables users to view news, live election night results and polls right form their mobile device from their own publication along with other top sources.
The NYTimes Election 2012 iOS app delivers a continuously updated view of the latest developments, and features the Election Guide that includes candidate pages with bios, stats and updates, a primary calendar with in-depth info on each state, editorials, Op-Eds and blog posts from The Times Opinion Pages, along with slideshows and videos from the campaign trail.
The NTTimes Election 2012 app is compatible with the 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S and iPod Touch third-gen and above and is a free application available to download from iTunes.
However you should be aware that a NYTimes.com smartphone apps subscription of $14.99 a month or an All Digital Access subscription of $34.99 a month is required to view some content.
