CES 2012: Android 4.0 aigo M803 tablet

As CES 2012 gears up for kick off in Las Vegas it appears there will be a few Android Ice Cream Sandwich devices surfacing, no doubt both smartphones and tablets, and one such Android 4.0 tablet is the aigo M803 tablet that just might capture the interest of the Android faithful out there.

To give it its full name, the aigopad M830 according to the guys over at Slash Gear by wya of en.aigo, runs an unspecified ARM Cortex A9 processor and offers an 8-inch multi-touch touch screen at 1280 x 768 resolution along with a 6000mAh battery.

The Android 4.0 offering also has 8GB of flash storage, memory card expansion slot, a 0.3 megapixel front facing camera for your video calling needs, WiFi, built-in microphone, and a built-in G-sensor.

This fairly basic Android slate sports a row of touch sensitive buttons, which the guys say leads them to believe that the aigopad could have been originally intended to run an earlier version of the Android operating system rather than ICS, but the maker decided to up the stakes with Android 4.0.

And that’s currently your lot when it comes to this new Android tablet, but if the aigopad M803 is to become a success then it will have to come out to play packing a reasonably low price tag one would have thought.

As for just when interested customers would be able to purchase the aigopad M803 and for just how much, well currently there’s no word on availability or pricing.
