During CES 2012, HTC officially announced the successor to the HTC Titan Windows Phone, the aptly named HTC Titan II and this time round the handset isn’t apparently for the United Kingdom as the HTC Titan II will come out to play stateside sporting 4G LTE on AT&T.
According to the guys over at T3 by way of Engadget, the HTC Titan II will pack a 4.7-inch Super LCD touch screen along with a 1.5GHz processor, only single core though, a 16 megapixel rear facing auto-focus camera with dual LED flash, 720p video, 1.3 megapixel front facing camera, and a 1730mAh battery.
The HTC Titan II will also come out to play packing the Windows Phone Mango operating system and of course that 4G LTE connectivity along with on-the-go gaming with Xbox Live.
HTC CEO Peter Chou said, “HTC’s history of innovation in 4G technology includes delivering the first 4G-powered devices to each major carrier in the U.S., so it is exciting today to continue that leadership with our first 4G LTE Windows Phone, the HTC TITAN II.”
No word on just when the HTC Titan II will become available on AT&T or what pricing the device may command but it does certainly look to be a beast of a smartphone, and for those that might be interested in the handset we have a hands-on video with the HTC Titan II for your viewing consideration below courtesy of the guys over at Technobuffalo…enjoy.
