Okay more speculation on Apple’s next generation iOS tablet this morning, with word coming from the usual unnamed sources so can’t really be verified, but the latest speculation is that Apple is gearing up to deliver the Apple iPad 3 in March and that the new slate will be LTE capable.
According to a report by Bloomberg, three people that are “familiar with the product” are claiming that the next generation iPad will sport a high definition display along with a quad core processor and will be able to connect to 4G LTE networks.
One of the unnamed sources also stated that Asia manufacturing partners have ramped up production of the new iOS slate with a view to be at full volumes by next month.
Another apparently has said that Apple is bringing 4G LTE connectivity to the Apple iPad 3 before the iPhone because the iOS slate packs a larger battery and can thus better support the technology.
Naturally, when asked, Apple spokeswoman Natalie Kerris stated that Apple doesn’t comment on rumour and speculation, which is the expected usual response, as we all know Apple will not confirm anything until such times as they are good and ready to do so.
So there you have it, if true the iOS faithful out there can look forward the an LTE packing Apple iPad 3 release sometime in March, however as with all things Apple this should be taken with a very large grain of salt.
