iPhone 5 in Q3 with 4G LTE

Well the latest rumour with the Apple iPad 3 is that the new tablet will come out to play packing 4G LTE, so obviously the speculation is Apple isn’t going to leave LTE out of the next generation iPhone. Thus the latest iPhone 5 rumour is that the iOS smartphone is expected to support LTE tech and arrive sometime in the third quarter of 2012.

According to an article over on Itproportal by way of Apple Insider, Morgan Stanley Investment Bank suggest that the next generation iOS smartphone will be thinner that the current iPhone 4S and that the handset could included a Qualcomm quad core chip for delivering 3G and 4G LTE across all networks.

In a note to investors analyst Katy Huberty said, Apple is to launch the iPad 3 in H1 and will deliver a “slimmer iPhone” later in the year, although details on the handset remain “sparse” she believes the handset will be ready by the end of Q2 but the launch will depend on “manufacturing yields,” and thus expects the Apple smartphone to surface in the third quarter.

Apparently, the iPhone 5 will be slimmer than the iPhone 4S thanks to a new touch panel tech, and the analyst suggests that Apple is also looking at new casing materials for the new iPhone.

Huberty also says that Apple and their supply chain were surprised at the demand for the iPhone 4S and thus delivers confidence in strong sales for the iPhone 5.

Not sure why Apple and their supply chain would be surprised at the demand for the iPhone 4S when you take into account the large iOS dedicated following, and obviously that following will without question pick up the iPhone 5 when it releases.

Of course as nothing with the iPad 3 and iPhone 5 has been confirmed by Apple all this remains in the land of rumour for now and should be treated as such.

HaHaHa, no wonder nobody has commented on this post. It’s the same stuff every year, and Apple always disappoints.  Maybe it will have LTE this time, maybe it will have a bigger screen, it’s going to have curved glass, ect, ect, and know what Apple gives you for all your wants, wishes, money, and hope? They give you a couple waste of time upgrades that have been on other phones for 2 years
