Hands-on loving with Motorola Droid Razr Maxx
The other day we informed our readers that at CES 2012 Motorola announced a couple of additions to the Droid RAZR family, in the form of the purple coloured Droid RAZR and the Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX, well we now have a little hands-on video of the Droid RAZR MAXX for your viewing consideration below.
The Motorola Dtoid RAZR MAXX hands-on footage comes our way courtesy of the guys over at Engadget who managed to get a little playtime with the new Android 2.3 Gingerbread handset at the event.
According to the guys that Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX gets its name due to the smartphones battery life, because it sports a 3300mAh battery that is said to deliver a whopping 21-hours of juice, and means that the device is slightly thicker by a couple of millimetres than the original Motorola Droid RAZR.
In the footage below they compare the Droid RAZR MAXX against the original version so you can see the slight variation between the two, and you also get to see a white Droid RAZR as well, but otherwise the Droid RAZR MAXX offers the same specs as the original.
The Droid RAZR MAXX should become available from Verizon in the coming weeks and command a price tag of $300 on a two-year agreement, and really all you’ll be sacrificing is a few millimetres thickness for more battery time which seems to be a decent trade off.
Anyway, I’ll leave it right there and let you head on down to mash that play button and check out the Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX hands-on, and feel free to let us know if you intend picking up the device when it becomes available…enjoy.

ya i like the white, and the maxx pretty darn awesome i could see myself using this feature in my line of work ,i am a logistics broker and i am on the phone constantly on the web constantly emailing constantly and texting constantly Google mapping and Google docing this would inhance my responce time to all my shippers being that i dont have to recharge the phoneÂ
but i am not willing to give up the thin sexyness of the droid razr for a batteryÂ
and it looks bulky next to razr on the back side bottom.
i know there were a lot of complaints about the battery life but i have the travel battery ordered for that reason ,
ohh and if the razr came in a chrome or  shinny metal finish i would trade itÂ
i like your review keep up the good workÂ
A 3,300 mAh battery is really impressive and needed with nowadays smartphones
