The Samsung Galaxy S II has been quite a success story for old Sammy and no doubt the Samsung Galaxy S2 HD smartphone that touts beefier specifications along with a higher resolution touch screen will also be yet another success for the Korean company, and the word is the Samsung Galaxy S2 HD will be coming to the United Kingdom.
According to an article over on The Next Web by way of MoDaCo, online retailer MobiCity has posted an advert for the HD version of the populate Android 2.3 Gingerbread smartphone.
Specifications for the Samsung Galaxy S2 HD seem to be on the spectacular side, packing a 4.65-inch 1280 x 720 HD touch screen, so larger and sharper that the current Galaxy S II, and similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
Other specs seem to be NFC, WiFi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0+HS, an 1850mAh battery and LTE connectivity; however apparently MobiCity’s Australian site has all the Samsung Galaxy S2 HD specs available.
So apparently the device model number is E120S measures 129.8 x 68.8 x 9.5mm and weighs in at 130 grams, 1.5Ghz dual core Scorpion processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, 8 megapixel camera with flash, front facing camera, GPS and microSD expansion up to 32GB.
Now hard and fast date as to when the Samsung Galaxy S2 HD will become available in the United Kingdom or what price it will command but according to the Australia site the Galaxy S HD is up for pre-order unlocked and commands a price tag of $749 from MobiCity Australia.
