The latest in the Galaxy smartphone line is of course the much talked about Samsung Galaxy S3, a device that had some of its rumoured specs already outed but obviously not confirmed, but when can we expect to see the Samsung Galaxy S2 successor come out to play in the public space? Well apparently the handset will become available sometime in April.
According to the guys over at Phone Arena, Russian blogger and chief editor of Mobile-review, Eldar Murtazin who ha son occasion delivers spot on specs and details for Nokia devices in the past, has used his Twitter account to put his opinions on the Samsung Galaxy S3 out there.
Apparently Murtazin says that we can expect Samsung to announce the Galaxy S3 at Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona in February after which the Android smartphone will make its way to shelves sometime in April, and even hints that he has got hold of a Galaxy S3.
In a series of tweets centred around the Nokia Lumia 900 and Galaxy S3, Murtazin said, “HD resolution, 12 mpx camera, sw tweaks, android 4 – i like my new phone. Eager to see official announcement in Barcelona.”
Furthermore Murtazin hints that the Galaxy S3 will come with a 1.5GHz or 1.6GHz quad core processor running the show and that Samsung has apparently done a good job at tweaking the battery to give better battery life for that quad core.
When it comes to the Nokia Lumia 900, Murtazin says that the Windows Phone will be known as the Nokia Lumia 910 in Europe and will see release in May.
Of course Eldar Murtazin hasn’t named his source of these details and doesn’t say just where he got hold of a Samsung Galaxy S3, so nothing has been officially confirmed so all this still remains in the land of rumour, that is until MWC 2012 hopefully.
