For those Android faithful out there that own an HTC Sensation and would love to play along with Android Ice Cream Sandwich and HTC Sense 3.6, apparently there is an early official firmware now available online for you to download to your Sensation smartphone called Sensation 3.24 ICS RUU.
According to the guys over at Androidos, the leaked Sensation 3.24 ICS RUU has been posted for all to grab on Paul O’Brien’s forum on Modaco, and is primarily for developers only.
There are however two other custom ROMs based on this release available from the guys over at XDA-developers (1) and (2) and are said to be stable and include all the Android 4.0 goodness although apparently these previous two custom ROMs support HTC Sense 3.5.
Whereas, Sensation 3.24 ICS RUU looks to be the first build to surface that included HTC Sense 3.6 rather than 3.5, and apparently at the moment there are no screenshots of Sense 3.6 available.
So there you have it, if you would like to play along with Android Ice Cream Sandwich and HTC Sense 3.6 on your HTC Sensation you can now install the Sensation 3.24 ICS RUU onto your device, and feel free to let us know how you get on and if you experience and problems by dropping us a line to our comments area below.
