For those eager beavers out there that simply can’t wait to get some official Android Ice Cream Sandwich love on their Motorola Droid RAZR and don’t mind tinkering with their beloved Android handset you might like to know that there’s an almost finished ICS 4.0 ROM now available to slp on your device.
According to the guys over at Droid-life by way of Droid Razr, “technically” the ICS 4.0 Rom is still in alpha, and has 3G and 4G working along with the touch screen, and phone and Google Apps althought apparently Google Talk still doesn’t work.
Other gear still not working in the ICS 4.0 ROM includes not surprisingly the camera, the downloading of Android apps from the Android Market and adb and the guys say those seem like normal first release ROM problems.
We also have a quick video of how to flash Android Ice Cream Sandwich to the Motorola Droid RAZR, so if you want to have a go don’t forget to head on down and hit that play button to find out just how it is done.
For those that wish to give the almost finished ICS 4.0 ROM a whirl you can grab all the necessary by hitting up Droidrazr.com, and feel free to let us know how you get on by dropping us a line to our comments area below.
