It’s been a while since we had a bit of a comparison fight video between two Android smartphones, so we have one for your viewing consideration below that pits the might of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus against the new kid on the block the LG Spectrum with both handsets packing considerable power.
The LG Spectrum versus the Samsung Galaxy Nexus comparison video comes our way courtesy of the guys over at Phone Arena who set up the smartphone battle over eight and a half minutes but the question is can one come out on top?
So let’s stat off with a specs rundown, the Galaxy Nexus has a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED touch screen whilst the LG Spectrum has a 4.5-inch HD IPS LCD touch screen, when it comes to the processor the Galaxy Nexus packs a 1.2GHz dual core processor whilst the Spectrum has a 1.5GHz dual core so a win for the Spectrum there.
When it comes to cameras, the Galaxy Nexus has a 5 megapixel rear facing auto-focus camera with LED flash and a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera and the LG Spectrum sports an 8 megapixel rear facing auto-focus camera with LED flash and a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera.
Memory wise the Galaxy Nexus has 16GB/32GB storage and no SD card slot while the Spectrum has 4GB storage but features microSD expansion up to 32GB whilst both have 1GB of RAM.
The big difference though is the operating system, as you know the Galaxy Nexus has Android Ice Cream Sandwich whilst the LG Spectrum is running Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
That’s enough from me as I have no wish to spoil your viewing enjoyment I’ll leave it right there and let you head on down to mash that play button to find out which of these two Android powerhouses can come out tops…enjoy.
