ICS update for Galaxy S2 and Note in Q1
If you happen to be one of the multitude that own a Samsung Galaxy S2 and/or the Samsung Galaxy Note and patiently awaiting on any news of just when your Android devices will get to see the Android Ice Cream Sandwich update, you might like to learn that the iCS update for both devices could become available quite soon.
According to the guys over at Ubergizmo, the Samsung Norway Facebook page has posted that the Android Ice Cream Sandwich update should hit the Samsung Galaxy S2 and Samsung Galaxy Note by the end of Q1 2012.
Which means of course that as today is the end of January there is still a couple of months to wait before you can play nice with Android 4.0 on the Galaxy S2 and Galaxy Note, but at least you now know when to expect its approximate arrival.
Apparently although it wasn’t mentioned in the Samsung Norway post, the rollout of the ICS update should be for international devices, but for the moment there is no word on just when US devices will see the update, but then the Samsung Galaxy Note still hasn’t landed for sale on US soil, but who knows, maybe the Ice Cream sandwich update will go global shortly after.
Are you impatiently waiting to play along with Android 4.0 on your Android smartphone or tablet and are eager for the update to hit?

Thanks for the update.
ICS updates will probably roll out the same time as the next Galaxy – Samsung Galaxy S3…
