I’m sure everyone out there in the Android space is patiently waiting on the latest Android operating system, Android Ice Cream Sandwich to hit their device, and Old Samsung has promised that ICS will come to the Samsung Galaxy S2 sometime in this quarter, and the other day we reported that an official Android 4.0.3 ROM was available for the Samsung Galaxy S2.
Well now courtesy of the guys over at Pocket Now, we have a video showing off how a leaked official Android 4.0.3 ROM runs on the Samsung Galaxy S2 smartphone for your viewing consideration below that lasts almost eight minutes.
The guys have tested out Android 4.0.3 and have found the OS refresh, although not final, to be smooth stable and as fast as one would expect, and that the unlocking mech has changed so you no longer have to swipe off the lock screen wallpaper, but only need to tap the screen and you are presented with the unlock ring, which is typical of Android Ice Cream Sandwich.
With Android 4.0.3 you get an improved Samsung TouchWiz user interface, adding more fluidity to the UI when swiping through the screens, and on reaching the end of the screens the screen tilts to let you know there are no more animations.
I don’t want to spoil your viewing enjoyment, so I’ll stop right there and let you head on down to mash that play button and check out Android 4.0.3 running on the Samsung Galaxy S2…enjoy.
