According to the guys over at Ubergizmo, the iStomp has the ability to turn into any pedal via your iPhone, iPod Touch or Apple iPad, simply plug your iDevice into the iStomp and then use the DigiTech Stomp Shop iOS app to select the desired pedal you want the iStomp to be.

Using a single iStomp pedal the user can create a multitude of guitar effects and all that is required is that you load it up with whatever you require between songs. The DigiTech iStomp user can also set your iOS device so that you can have the pedal sounding exactly how you like.

The DigiTech iStomp comes with two popular effects for free, Redline Overdrive and Total Recall Delay, whilst other effects can be purchased via the app including Red Compressor, Octaver, Compressor, Screamer — Tube Distortion, Rock it Distortion, Face Fuzz, Blue Pearl Chorus, and many more with the ability to sample each effect for 5-minutes before deciding to purchase.
