Sony Xperia S vs Nokia N8 camera comparison
The on board camera has become a ubiquitous part of the modern smartphone experience, with even the most budget handsets now offering upwards of 2MP hardware out of the box. High-end devices are providing users with real compact camera-beating capabilities and features such as face recognition; intelligent ISO and auto-focus are steadily becoming the norm.
The Nokia N8 has long been considered the ultimate camera phone, with its 12MP snapper featuring Carl Zeiss optics, xenon flash and autofocus. However, Sony has joined the party with their impressive new Xperia S. As well as being a formidable smartphone in its own right (1.5GHz dual-core processor, HD Reality display just to whet your appetite), the Xperia S offers a top-drawer image capturing experience. Also boasting 12MP resolution along with Exmor R sensor technology and face recognition, the Sony device looks all set to steal the Nokia’s crown.
So, how does the camera-hungry smartphone fan decide between these two photography powerhouses? Well, the mobile tech gurus over at Dialaphone have put together a handy video comparison of the two devices, pitching them against each other in a number of areas to see which can truly be considered the ultimate camera phone.
