Mobile World Congress 2012 kicks off in Barcelona in a couple of week’s time and the word is that Nokia just might announced the Nokia Lumia 730 during the mobile event; however whomever supplied that particular rumour left a fair bit out, word that apparently Nokia has a further five smartphone to show off at MWC 2012.
According to the guys over at Ubergizmo by way of Pocket Now, out of those six handsets one will be a Symbian device, three will probably be S40/S60 featurephones whilst the remaining two will be Windows Phone devices.
Apparently the Windows Phone handsets are expected to be a global model of the Nokia Lumia 900 along with an entry-level handset called the Nokia Lumia 610 or maybe that Nokia Lumia 730.
Other Nokia handsets are said to be the Nokia 808 Preview, which is apparently the touch screen centric successor to the Nokia N8, and according to Pocket Now we could also see the Nokia Asha 302, Nokia Asha 202 and Nokia Asha 203.
No doubt the two Nokia Windows Phone handsets are of the most interest as Nokia has put their faith in Windows Phone to drag them back to their former glory in the mobile space. Other than that there’s no more to be said at this moment, but no doubt we’ll learn more once MWC 2012 kick off and of course will bring all the juicy details of the even as and when they hit.
