Video teases Nokia Pure View camera smartphones coming

In a few days time, one of this year’s events will be kicking off in Barcelona, that of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) and from February 27th through to March 1st, Finnish company Nokia will be showing off their new wares.

Although details are still a little sparse at the moment, we can tell you that future plans from the company include what they’ve called “Pure View” smartphones. Showing off a video teaser incorporating some brilliant photo shots, Nokia’s emphasis will be on new camera phone technology, of which we will find out about in less than a few days.

The video itself only lasts a mere 22 seconds but as you can see from it below, there are snow covered photos including the words “pure detail,” “pure depth” and “pure definition.”

As Slashgear pointed out, with Nokia packing a 12MP camera into some of their smarpthone range in 2011, perhaps this is the time for the Fins to show off something equally impressive. Is this the time for rivals Android and iPhone to worry? During the MWC event next week, Nokia will be updating their Pure View concept across social networking site Twitter.

Check out the video and let us know what you think?
