Sennheiser MM 550-X and 450-X Bluetooth headsets: MWC 2012
Sennheiser during Showstoppers at Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona have announced that their Mobile Music wireless series now has the X-factor, with the new MM 550-X and MM 450-X headsets combining the latest Apt-X tech with premium features to make the Bluetooth headsets a blast to travel with.
The over the ear MM 550-X and the on ear MM 450-X are new flagship Bluetooth headsets in Sennheiser’s Travel line of devices that make listening to music better by compressing sound at four times higher rate whilst apt-X drivers enable a fuller wiser audio spectrum.
Both the MM 550-X and MM 450-X are packed with premium features such as CD audio quality, NoiseGard 2.0 noise reduction that cancels out 90 percent of background noise, Bluetooth 2.1, invisible microphone, direct cable option for when on an airplane with an airline adapter.
Furthermore according to Sennheiser, to make these wireless Bluetooth headsets as portable as possible both the MM 550-X and MM 450-X are lightweight and foldable so they are the perfect travel companion. Both devices support most apt-X devices along with Mac OS X Lion, and if you mobile device or computer does not support apt-x it will auto-switch to regular Bluetooth.
The MM 550-X model also offers surround sound via the SRS WOW HD technology, which creates a wider and taller sound with a stronger bass and greater clarity. Both the MM 550-X and MM 450-X Bluetooth headsets will become available globally as of March this year.

beware it seems Apple iOS 5 does not support the apt-x protocol, the iPhone hence does NOT take advantage of such headset yet
I have this headphone and I am very upset to have paid so much money for such a low quality product
