During Mobile World Congress 2012 we learnt that the Orange Santa Clara, an Intel Medfield smartphone would see launch in both the UK and France, however that isn’t the only Intel Medfield powered Android smartphone at the event, as there is the XOLO X 900 from Lara, which is destined for India, and again is an Intel Medfield Android device.
During MWC 2012 the Lara XOLO X900 smartphone was demonstrated and we have that demo video for your viewing pleasure below courtesy of the guys over at Ubergizmo, which delivers a three-minute close up look at the Android handset.
According to the guys the XOLO X900 is fairly close to the Orange Santa Clara handset so one can expect a 4.inch touch screen along with a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z2460 processor, an 8 megapixel rear facing camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, HDMI out, GPS, NFC and HSPA+ connectivity.
Lara is apparently one of the fastest growing mobile handset companies in India and expect the XOLO X900 to launch sometime in the second quarter although currently there is no word on what price tag the Android Intel Medfield phone will command.
So with all that said all that remains is for you to head on down and mash that play button to check out the XOLO X900 demonstration video…enjoy.
