HTC Media Link HD tech demo video

During Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona HTC demonstrated their new HTC Media Link HD technology, a tech that enables the owner of an HTC smartphone to stream content from their smartphone to their HDTV, and we have a demo video of the HTC Media Link HD tech in action for your viewing consideration below.

The HTC Media Link HD tech demo video comes our way courtesy of the guys over at Phone Arena and delivers just over two minutes of checking out the new HTC technology that connects to your HDTV via HDMI and connect via a WiFi network simultaneously.

When connected to the same WiFi network the smartphone can then stream content to the TV and can also work in mirror mode so that whatever shows on your touch screen will show up on the screen of the HDTV.

The smartphone used during the demo at MWC 2012 is actually the HTC One X, although the guys say they are fairly sure other HTC Android devices will also be able to play along with the HTC Media Link HD.

So with that all said all you need do now is head on down and mash that play button to check out the HTC Media Link HD in action, and feel free to let us know if you are an HTC device user if you would take advantage of what the HTC Media Link HD has to offer by dropping us a line to our comments area below…enjoy.

I’m a little concerned about the built in battery as the quad core processor and the large screen is bound to kill the battery power rather quickly. also what happens when the phone freezes like I have experienced with the HTC Desire and the only way to reset it is by pulling the battery out?
