For all those Three UK customers that might have been patiently awaiting the availability of the Sony Xperia S to arrive on Three, you might like to know that you can now purchase the Sony Xperia S from Three UK on both contract and Pay As You Go, and Three UK is the first UK carrier to offer the Android smartphone as of today the 8th of March 2012.
According to the guys over at Unwired View, Three UK has finally made the Sony Xperia S available for purchase on UK soil, offering the Android 2.3 Gingerbread smartphone on Pay Monthly as a free handset from £30 per month or for £36 a month on The One Plan with all-you-can-eat data, 5000 texts and 2000 minutes.
Three UK is also offering the Sony Xperia S on Pay As You Go where the device will hit your pocket for a cost of £369.99, with All In One 15 costing £15 for which you get 30-day access to all-you-can-eat data along with 3000 texts and 300 any network minutes, or All in One 25, which costs £25 you, receive all-you-can-eat data for that 30-day period along with 3000 texts and 500 minutes.
Spec reminder for the Sony Xperia S…4.3-inch 1280 x 720 “Reality Display” along with a 12 megapixel camera with Exmore R sensor, 720p video, 1.3 megapixel front facing camera, 1.5GHz Snapdragon processor, Mobile Bravia Engine, WiFi, GPS, HDLNA and HDMI capability and a 1900mAh battery, and a unique clear bar below the display where the antenna and home, back and menu buttons are housed.
So there you go, those in the United Kingdom can now grab the Sony Xperia S from Three UK, no word on just when any other UK carrier will be offering the Xperia S yet though.
