FCC release documents on HTC Droid Incredible 4G

There will be a lot of people waiting for the latest HTC Droid smartphone and only a few days ago we told how the HTC Droid Incredible 4G was on the way. Today we can tell you that the FCC has now released documents on the HTC Droid Incredible 4G, which is heading to Verizon.

The HTC One series including the One X (or One XL on AT&T) is also on the way and is attracting a lot of attention so it’s likely that the Droid Incredible 4G will be released soon before the One series grabs the limelight. We’ve already told of a leaked release date of April 26 for the Droid Incredible 3 4G and that looks increasingly likely, especially after the spot at the FCC.

We also think that the Droid Incredible 4G was previously dubbed the Fireball so that may save some confusion if you’re still looking for more information on the Fireball. The latest in the Droid Incredible series is rumored to feature a 4-inch Super AMOLED display and 1.2GHz dual-core processor (probably OMAP) and is likely to appeal to many who already enjoy HTC Droid-branded handsets as well as gathering some new fans. The newest in the line is likely to be released on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich skinned with the latest HTC Sense UI, as told here.

Of course there’s also that 4G LTE connectivity and other likely inclusions are 1GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front-facer. We’re hoping to see the Droid Incredible 4G turn up on the Verizon website soon and if we hear more we’ll let you know. Are you an HTC Droid enthusiast? Does the Incredible 4G appeal to you, or maybe you have your mind set on one of the many other upcoming smartphones?
