Pre-order RadioShack New iPad to beat Apple wait

Eager to get in your pre-order for the new iPad and perhaps having a bit of a struggle placing your pre-order with Apple? Then fear not because the first reseller to open up pre-orders for the new iPad has now begun with RadioShack, so if you are finding it difficult it just might be worth giving RadioShack a shot.

According to the guys over at Phone Arena, Apple started pre-orders for the new iPad as soon as they announced it, and now you can also pre-order the iOS slate from RadioShack although apparently there is a little catch, which means those that pre-order the new iPad will be required to purchase a 50-buck RadioShack gift card.

Once the gift card has been purchase you can use it later against the standard price of the iOS slate or if you prefer something else you can use the gift card on anything at RadioShack.

Apparently though you don’t have a great deal of time to shove in your new iPad pre-order with RadioShack as pre-orders will halt on the 12th of this month, so that is Monday, and you can’t pre-order the device online either as the pre-order in only available in stores, so you will need to visit your local store to do so.

RadioShack is also running a trade in program called Trade & Save whereby you can get up to $175 for an original Apple iPad, or up to $350 for an Apple iPad 2.

So there you go, will any of our readers be heading to their local RadioShack over this weekend to place a pre-order for the new iPad?
