If you remember back during Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona, HTC showed off the HTC One V smartphone albeit only a grey coloured model, and it was expected that this grey version would be the only colour available when the device surfaces; however it appears this is no longer the case and the HTC One V will arrive in three colours.
According to the guys over at Phandroid by way of Androinica, the HTC One V handset has now gained approval by the Global Certification Forum (GCF), which is good timing considering the HTC One V has a proposed April release schedule.
Anyway more information has also come to light on the HTC One V, and that is a couple of new images have surfaced showing the Android Ice Cream Sandwich toting device as also arriving in two more colours, black and purple to go along with that classic grey.
Spec wise the HTC One V is a mid-range Android device with a 3.7-inch capacitive touch screen with scratch resistant glass, a 5 megapixel rear facing auto-focus camera with smart LED flash and BSI sensor, 720p video, 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB storage, microSD expansion, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and 3.5mm jack and measures 120.3 x 59.7 x 9.24mm with a weight of 115 grams and has a 1500mAh battery.
Still no hard and fast release date other than April for the HTC One V and no word on what the Android handset might set you back either, but at least you now know it will come in three colour options.
