Video of Telus HTC One V running smoothly

Last month at the Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona Spain, HTC announced their new One range of smartphones. Today we have a Video of the TELUS HTC One V running smoothly with Sense 4.0 in tow.

The guys over at Mobile Syrup have managed to get the chance to have a go with some of the upcoming products on TELUS, and one of these was the HTC One V that had an early build of the Android 4.0.3 operating system along with the Sense 4.0 overlay.

It seems to be a good decision by HTC to bring Sense 4.0 to the lower specified One V, and seeing the software in action on the smartphone it was found to run smoothly despite the hardware it was on. The camera was found to provide a really quick performance, which included taking still shots at the same time as capturing 720p video.

ImageSense from HTC will be left untouched, and the only difference that could be found on the One V compared to other handsets in the range, was that it used Google’s default multitasking menu instead of HTCs 3D horizontal interface but this may change in the final build.

To recap the HTC One V uses a 1.0 GHz single core processor powering a 3.7-inch SLCD2 480 x 800 screen. It also features 512MB of RAM with 4GB of on-board storage, and like the rest of the One range it will come with 25GB of DropBox cloud storage too. The device according to HTC measures 120.3 x 59.7 x 9.24 mm, so the device is nice and slim.

Currently there are no details on pricing and availability for the HTC One V on TELUS, but with any luck there will be some official news on the matter soon. Check the video below with the device running Sense 4.0.
