It appears that Rovio has yet another big success on their hands with the release of Angry Birds Space on both the iOS and Android platforms, which shouldn’t really be of any real surprise considering the popularity of the green pig bashing mobile game with its latest version being released just three days ago.
And according to the guys over at Slash Gear, Rovio today announced via their official Twitter account that Angry Birds Space has hit the 10 million downloads milestone in less than three days, and of course thanked their fans for doing so.
Angry Birds Space is free on Android with advert support whilst available as a paid download on iOS, and as we reported earlier, Angry Birds Space will be coming to the Windows Phone platform at some point in the future.
However, although Rovio has confirmed that Angry Birds Space has been downloaded over 10 million times, they didn’t deliver any platform numbers so it isn’t clear how many of the Android app have been downloaded as opposed to the iOS version, but no doubt someone will come up with that comparison as some pint in the game.
Thus it would appear that Rovio simply can’t do anything wrong and mobile games will keep hitting the top of the apps in the mobile app stores until a new popular game can come along to knock them off their perch. So are you playing Angry Birds Space on your smartphone or tablet,if so are you finding it difficult or fairly easy?
