LG Miracle Windows Phone (E740H) by Telus Pops up

The Windows Phone platform is slowly gaining momentum as more desirable handsets become available, and while we see a number of new Android devices being leaked, we don’t see the same number for Microsoft’s mobile platform. Today though we have news of a leaked LG Miracle Windows Phone by Telus.

An article over at Pocket Now has some images of the device that was sent by source, which has the model number of E740H, and on the welcome screen there is some Telus customization. Previously before MWC 2012 a LG E740 appeared in Romania and it is believed to be the Miracle handset, and the model with the codename E950 is expected to be a different device called the LG Fantasy.

The Miracle meanwhile is thought to come packing a four inch WVGA NOVA screen with a 1 GHZ Snapdragon processor. Other rumoured specs include 8GB of on-board storage, five megapixel shooter but with no flash, VGA webcam, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n with 5.0GHz-compatibility, Bluetooth 3.0, and a HSPA radio.

Battery wise the device is thought to have a 1,500 mAh unit powering it with the handset itself being around 9mm in thickness. In comparison the LG E740H from the images has the front facing camera on the opposite side and there is a flash below the camera round the back, and it seems this will be a carrier variant of the handset with the Telus welcome screen unless LG has decided to change the design.

The Windows Phone platform is beginning to grow in popularity as more hardware that covers most budgets becomes available to consumers, and it seems that there are a lot more affordable devices in the pipeline for the platform. This has been one of the factors that have helped the Android platform to increase its market share in recent times.

Would you get an LG smartphone on the Windows Phone platform?
