With the latest Windows Phone coming to AT&T in a few days time, should you consider picking up the new Nokia Lumia 900, or should you opt for another smartphone such as the Samsung Galaxy Nexus? Well to help you make up your mind as to whether the Nokia Lumia 900 is worth the wait, we have a video comparison for your viewing pleasure below.
The comparison video that comes our way courtesy of the guys over at Pocket Now pits Windows Phone against Android Ice Cream Sandwich in the form of the Nokia Lumia 900 against the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, and delivers eleven minutes of comparing the two smartphones.
Obviously the big difference between the two devices is in the pricing as the Nokia Lumia 900 will set you back just $99 when signing up to AT&T for a two year period, or apparently you can also get the device for just $0.01 from Amazon or 49-bucks via Walmart.
Whereas the Samsung Galaxy Nexus will set you back $299.99 with Verizon and 99-bucks from Amazon, so there is quite a price difference between the two.
In the video comparison you will note that the Nokia Lumia 900 boots somewhat faster than the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, but when it comes to screen resolution if you compare a picture close up there is really a noticeable difference with the Galaxy Nexus coming out on top, but if you look at the images singularly there’s not too much of a difference, but the difference is down to the Galaxy Nexus sporting a 720 HD Super AMOLED display, whilst the Nokia Lumia 900 sports ClearBlack AMOLED display.
When it comes to the camera, the Nokia Lumia 900 does get to the camera quicker, but the Galaxy Nexus is faster with its lack of shutter lag, whilst both handsets so well when launching applications, and when it comes to build quality the Galaxy Nexus does feel more solidly built.
Anyway enough of my ramblings I’ll let you head on down to hit that play button and make up your own mind whether the Nokia Lumia 900 or the Samsung Galaxy Nexus comes out the winner in the comparison fight…enjoy.
