The Sprint TV app is now available for Sprint iPhone users and is a great way for those who enjoy viewing TV to access more than 15 TV channels including primetime, daytime, sport, news and children’s programs. Today we’d like to ask users of the SprintTV app if they have any ideas for how the application could be improved and also if they have noticed any problems with the app.
The app is available free (iTunes link here) with most Sprint data plans and is compatible for use with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch’s running iOS 4.0 or later. Users need to activate their Sprint TV accounts and to do this need to turn off Wi-Fi on the iPhone for network detection. Your account will then be confirmed and you can then watch TV via Wi-Fi or Sprint’s network. Some of the free channels included with the data bundle are ESPN Mobile TV, ABC Mobile, NBC, Disney Channel, CBS and more.
Extra premium packs are also available for $9.99 a month and other premium subscriptions such as Playground TV are available for $4.99 monthly. These are all detailed in full at the Sprint TV iTunes link above. Version 4.3.4. of the Sprint TV app came out in March and offered improvements such as bug fixes and UI improvements. If you want to find out more then check out the video review of the Sprint TV for iPhone app below this story.
We’d like to hear from readers if they have ever noticed any problems with the Sprint TV iPhone app and for those who’ve now had a good chance to use it, what could be better about the Sprint TV app? If you have any thoughts to share, problems with the app or questions to ask then feel free to send your comments and questions to us and hopefully among our readership and with our help you can help each other out.
