So if you are over the pond in the USA and have been waiting patiently for T-Mobile USA to release the latest smartphone from the HTC camp, the HTC One S, it appears that T-Mobile USA customer don’t have that much longer to wait, as word is T-Mobile and HTC are to launch the ICS HTC One S on the 18th of this month at and event in New York City.
According to the guys over on PC Mag, invitations have been sent out to reporters so they can be on hand for the launch of the HTC One S on T-mobile USA during the event in New York City at 7PM on Wednesday the 18th of April.
According to the guys, the T-Mobile HTC One S is close to the international version of the Android Ice Cream Sandwich handset, but will have different pre-loaded applications and of course be compatible with T-Mobile bands.
Spec wise the T-Mobile USA version of the HTC One S will be the same as the international version so customers can expect, a 4.3-inch qHD AMOLED touch screen along with an 8 megapixel rear facing auto-focus camera with LED flash, VGA front facing camera, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, Android 4.0 OS and HTC Sense 4.0, and a 1.5GHz dual core Snapdragon S4 processor.
Earlier rumour had it that the HTC One S would release on T-Mobile as of the 25th of April, however it now appears that potential customers will now be able to snap up the ICS handset a little earlier, will you be grabbing the HTC One S from T-Mobile?
