If you happen to be over in the US and in the market for a new smartphone, on Wednesday at 7PM in New York two handset makers will roll out their latest Android smartphone offering in the form of the LG Viper 4G for Sprint and the HTC One S for T-Mobile, so if you are in the market for a new Android device, you have a buying decision to make.
According to the guys over at Phone Arena, by way of Android Central, LG will be holding an event on Wednesday that will feature Miss USA 1996, teaching those that attend the event how to use the LG Viper 4G handset to change your tech habits along with refreshments and interactive demonstrations.
At the same time, T-Mobile will kick off their event to introduce the HTC One S handset, and will have Dale Earnhardt for the entertainment, although one could expect T-Mobile spokeswoman Carly to make an appearance.
As for the specs of both Android devices, the HTC One S offers the customer a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED qHD touch screen long with an 8 megapixel rear facing camera with LED flash, a 0.3 megapixel front facing camera, 1080p video, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, HSPA+42 connectivity, 1.5 GHz dual core Snapdragon S4 processor and runs Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS.
Whereas the LG Viper 4G for Sprint offers the customer a 4-inch WVGA NOVA touch screen along with a 5 megapixel auto-focus rear facing camera with flash, VGA front facing snapper, 1GB RAM, 4GB ROM, 4G LTE connectivity, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, NFC, 1.2 GHz dual core processor, microSD expansion up to 32GB and runs the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system.
