The Samsung Galaxy Nexus 4G has been a hit smartphone and no wonder, with top-end specs and running the very latest Android operating system, 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Released late last year the price has been steadily coming down and today we have details of a bargain Galaxy Nexus 4G on Verizon.
On release the Galaxy Nexus 4G was priced at $299.99 on contract but only a few weeks ago we told how Amazon was now offering the Verizon Samsung Galaxy Nexus 4G for $99 on the usual two-year contract and now that price has been reduced even further. Amazon Wireless now has the Galaxy Nexus 4G on Verizon Wireless for a going-cheap price of $49.99 on contract and to be frank that seems to us a must-have price.
The phone is currently in stock and the price includes free two-day shipping (for orders received by 3pm ET Mon to Fri). With still no announcement about the iPhone 5 or Galaxy S3 this deal could certainly tempt those who had been waiting for more detail about those. Specs and features include a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, whopping 4.65-inch HD Super AMOLED display, 5-megapixel rear camera with 1080p Full HD video capture, 1.3-megapixel front-facer, 1GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, 4G LTE connectivity, Wireless-N WiFi and Bluetooth 3.0.
With the Galaxy Nexus 4G you’ll get around 12 hours of talk time or 150 hours of standby time with download speeds of 5 to 12 Mbps and upload speeds of 2 to 5 Mbps in LTE areas. This smartphone also has built-in Mobile Hotspot functionality (extra charges apply) and a Face Unlock feature. Dimensions are 5.33 x 2.67 x 0.37-inches and it weighs 5.29 ounces. Included in the box are the handset, rechargeable battery, wall/USB charger, stereo handset and guide. To order head to the Amazon Wireless link earlier in this article.
