We are continuing to see a number of rumours and speculation coming to light about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S III, which as usual with smartphones can turn out to be complete fabrication. Today though we have a Vietnamese video that is alleging to feature the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S3.
In the last few days we have seen images released claiming to be the new Galaxy S3 along with various rumours about the specifications of the device, which at first suggested a minor upgrade before hinting at a new display and quad core processor. Now the guys over at Engadget are reporting of a video via Vietnamese site Tinhte that has managed to get hold of the GT-I9300, which if previous naming is anything to go by, will be the Galaxy S3.
According to the specifications being leaked the handset has a 4.6-inch screen at 720 x 1184 resolution or 320 DPI depending if you include the on screen Android buttons. The processor is said to be a 1.4 GHz quad core unit running Android Ice Cream Sandwich, and other features include 1GB of RAM and unlike previous claims an eight megapixel camera. There is claimed to be 16GB of on board storage that can be expanded via a microSD card slot.
The site is also claiming that the 2,050 mAh battery will come with NFC connectivity in a similar way that the Galaxy Nexus did. On the handset itself a plastic rim can be seen surrounding the whole device that has apparently been added to keep the looks of the handset more of a surprise once it is officially released.
There is a good chance this video could be the real deal, and since it first appeared English subtitles have been added, so we are calling on all of you that can speak Vietnamese, do the subtitles match what is being said in the video?
