Shocking press reveals no UK LG Optimus 3D Max
If you are over here in the United Kingdom waiting patiently to get some 3D action on with the LG Optimus 3D Max that has now, as of today been released in Germany, it appears that Brits will be right out of luck when it comes to purchasing the LG Optimus 3D Max, as they would need to pop over to Europe to get the device.
According to the guys over at Engadget, they have been told by an LG spokesperson that the Android 2.3 Gingerbread LG Optimus 3D Max will not be coming to UK shores; however apparently the L-sytle series and the quad core packing LG Optimus 4X HD are destined to play nice across the globe.
The LG Optimus 3D Max is 20 grams lighter and 2mm slimmer than its predecessor the LG Optimus 3D, and measures just 9.6mm thick and weighs in at 148 grams.
Spec wise the LG Optimus 3D Max offers a 4.3-inch WVGA 3D touch screen with Gorilla Glass, two 5 megapixel rear facing cameras, a VGA front facing camera, 1.2GHz dual core OMAP 4430 processor, 8GB internal storage, 1GB internal memory, microSD expansion up to 32GB, HDMI up to 1080p, DNLA, NFC, a 1520mAh battery and Android Gingerbread OS.
As for pricing, well there’s no word on what the LG Optimus 3D Max will set you back, as apparently the pricing will depend on carriers. But if you were hoping to own the Optimus 3D Max in the UK it appears you wont be able to do so for the foreseeable future, are you disappointed?
