The Snooker World Championship 2012 runs from April 21 to May 7, and we have decided to share a few mobile apps with you to get you in the mood. There are many different applications to choose from so we will just give a few the mentions they deserve.

The second app is for Android users and called “World Snooker Championship” by sayhellowavegoodbye, this one is also free and offers all the news and results from the snooker circuit. As we all know World Championship dates back to 1927 and is now showing at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield, there is £1.1million in prize money to be had. Now moving onto the 3rd application for iOS users called “World Snooker”, this one is a game for only £1.99 for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad via the App Store, this is a fully licensed World Snooker Championship game that comes with 31 of the top ranked players such as Jimmy White, Steve Davis, Ronnie O’Sullivan an many more.

World Snooker is a cool and very addictive game-playing app, it includes you the player hitting the balls with your cue at the Crucible theatre, and you can practice at the tables before entering a tournament. Main Features Include: Tournament modes with three levels of difficultly including Amateur, Pro and World Championships, Game Centre, Retina display compatible, Stunning graphics, Tournament, Quick Match and Practice game modes, as well as Pick-up-and-play controls and much more.

The last app also for iOS devices is “World Snooker Champ” By Rosetta Trading Limited, which is free via the App Store. This official snooker app is great for all fans where users can get hands on all the World Snooker’s famous trophies. This shows all the World Snooker’s major trophies, users can also personalise photos of family and friends lifting the stunning trophy of their choice.

Main Features Include: Easy photo-manipulator, entertaining, two-stage process, user can take a new photo or upload an existing photo image for those wanting to hold the trophy, individually or as a group. They then pick which of the official World Snooker trophies they want to hold, create their perfect picture, add the World Snooker logo and personalise their glory shot by adding a name and a caption.
