I’m sure those on the Android platform that are faithful to Samsung devices, and patiently awaiting the unveiling of Sammy’s next Galaxy device, the Samsung Galaxy S3, will know that the Samsung Unpacked 2012 event kicks off at 7PM tomorrow in London. During the event Sammy will no doubt cover many new products, but the main event of the evening is expected to be the long awaited announcement of the Samsung Galaxy S3.
In the past there have been quite a few rumours on what the Samsung Galaxy S3 will offer as opposed to the successful Samsung Galaxy S2, and we have also seen quite a few concept image takes on what the Galaxy S3 could possibly look like, but after tomorrow’s Samsung Unpacked 2012 event we should all know what to expect with the SGS3.
However all those Galaxy S3 speculations including the 4.8-inch AMOLED Plus touch screen, Exynos 4 quad core 1.4GHz processor, 10 or 12 megapixel camera, LTE connectivity and more, still firmly remain rumours, but hopefully will turn out to be spot on when Sammy unveils the handset.
Probably the only real thing one can count on with the Samsung Galaxy S3 for sure, is the the smartphone will undoubtedly come out to play packing the latest version of Android Ice Cream Sandwich, and if it for some reason doesn’t then I’m sure most would be somewhat disappointed to say the least.
Now, basically purely judging on past experiences, when old Sammy delivers an new device such as the Samsung Galaxy S2, we saw a price reduction on the original Samsung Galaxy S to shift that device to make room for more stock of the new handset. So with this in mind, one could hopefully expect to see the price of the current Samsung Galaxy S2 start to fall once the Samsung Galaxy S3 is announced.
So, what we’d like to ask our readership is, will you purchase the Galaxy S3 as soon as it becomes available, or will you hold off and wait to see if the Galaxy S2 sees a price drop and then pick up the GS2?
