If you are an owner of the HTC Rezound you just might be interested to know that there is a new Android Ice Cream Sandwich update availble for the HTC Rezound, and is Android 4.0.3 build 3.13.605.7, an update that sorts out a few problems with the device, although apparently the update wont be available over the air.
According to the guys over at Android Police, they have the exclusive download available, so if you do wish to download the Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.3 build to your HTC Rezound you’ll need to hit up their website.
The guys have also come up with the changelog, so here is what is fixed in the Android 4.0.3 update…
Camera dark when using Facebook, text field difficult to read, OTA SW update time, OTA over incorrect APN, Flash Player removed, BUA+ (multiple issues), “set current date” frequently popping up, car dock limiting charging current, Exchange mail account removed after FOTA, Hotspot turning off after 10-minutes, camera failing to launch, “Android updating” message on power up, resets, roaming charges when in Mexico and Canada, and Facebook force close when you tap a video album.
A word of warning, if you use the HTC Bootloader unlock tool this will not work, the handset must be fully stock with a locked bootloader, or you must have S-Off.
So to download and install to your HTC Rezound, you need to download the PH981IMG.zip file, then put the renamed file onto the root of the SD card, power down the handset, reboot into the bootloader by holding VOL DOWN + power, and the flashing should start immediately, and once the handset reboots you are done.
So there you go, if you do grab the Android 4.0.3 build 3.13.605.7 and give it a go on your HTC Rezound, feel free to let us know how it all goes by dropping us a line to our comments area below.
