There are a number of different iPhone cases that we show you here on Phones Review that have a variety of uses besides protecting that treasured piece of hardware, but the threatening Knuckle iPhone case is surely dangerous.
Many of us would have seen violent gangster movies with various actors using the old school brass knuckle dusters, but this latest iPhone case may have you breaking out in laughter if someone was to pull this out at you. The case is manufactured from solid aluminium so if it was used in the wrong way on someone there is no doubting it would cause some physical damage.
It certainly adds some bulk to your iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S, and it won’t exactly slip in and out your trouser pocket that easy anymore, but who in their right mind would want to either purchase or use the Knuckle case? as it doesn’t seem to offer much protection to the handset judging by the images. A mugger may have second thoughts stealing your iPhone though if you were to pull this out after they demanded that you hand over your smartphone.
The manufacturer of the iPhone Knuckle case does stress on the product page that it must only be used as a handle and a protective accessory for an iPhone, and any other use of the case is considered misuse, which forfeits “of any express or implied warranty of fitness for purpose”. The description goes on to say that customers looking to purchase the case “agree to hold the Company harmless for any misuse of the product, which results in damage to yourself or third parties”.
If you like the look of the case it is available for $99 plus standard US shipping priced at $4.99, while international shipping is available at $9.99. Would you purchase such a case for your smartphone?
