Samsung Galaxy S3 UK price is falling

Almost a week ago now we got the first official look at the Samsung Galaxy S III at the special event the company held in London and streamed to the rest of the world. Shortly after the event a number of carriers and retailers revealed their early pricing for the handset, along with some special pre-order goodies, but now it seems that Galaxy S3 UK price is falling.

The pre-order availability of the upcoming handset continues to gather pace before it is released later this month as retailers take money from excited Android fans. The price of the unlocked versions of the device is starting to drop as well according to an article over at SlashGear.

Consumers can now get the device SIM free without any lengthy contract for just under £500 via online retailer Amazon, with shipments of the device set to start on May 30th just a day after the handset becomes available in the rest of Europe. As soon as Samsung had revealed the handset to the world retailers begun offering the device for around £550, but this has since dropped to just under £515 at online retailer Clove.

Rival retailer Play.com also has the Galaxy S3 available in both colours for £499.99 including delivery with a May 30th date given. To recap your money will get you a device with a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display powered by Samsung’s own Exynos quad core processor with 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of on-board storage.

We have already seen some third party accessories appearing online before the handset is released, but there has been some disappointment from some Android users about the Galaxy S3. Some feel that Samsung should have offered a device with a Super AMOLED Plus HD display along with a twelve megapixel camera.
