Nokia 808 PureView gets priced in India
The word is that the new Nokia 808 PureView smartphone is to release in Russia and India initially, however it wasn’t known just how much the Nokia Belle smartphone would cost; however it appears that it has now come to light just how much the smartphone will command in India.
According to the guys over at GSM Arena by way of Androsym, the page source for the Nokia India store has revealed what price tag the Nokia 808 PureView handset will command, and that price tag is set at INR 29,999, which is roughly $557 or if you prefer 432 Euros (image below).
However the actual Nokia India store itself doesn’t make any mention of the Price for the Nokia 808 PureView handset, but rather lets potential customers for the Nokia handset to register their details to be notified as to when the smartphone will become available.
Spec reminder for the Nokia 808 PureView, a 4-inch AMOLED ClearBlack touch screen, that impressive 41 megapixel rear facing auto-focus camera, a VGA front facing camera, 1080p video, 512GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, microSD expansion up to 32GB, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, NFC, 1.3GHz ARM 11 processor, Nokia Belle OS, and a 1400mAh battery.
Of course that pricing is for the unlocked Nokia 808 PureView, and should include all taxes. Apparently digging through the page source of other devices that are available, the source prices do match the prices on the page and as such that INR 29,999 price looks to be the official price.
